First Friday's Art Walk

First Fridays is the signature program of the non-profit organization, Curated Culture, Inc. Its mission is to increase appreciation and awareness of the arts and culture through providing economic opportunities for artists and arts facilities. First Fridays is held on the first Friday of each month, rain or shine, generally between 6:00 – 10:00 pm. This unique cultural event showcases Richmond's thriving arts community, focusing on the diverse arts and cultural venues located along the Historic Broad Street Corridor. Curated Culture coordinates all activities related to First Fridays, including marketing, fundraising and sponsorship, programming, as well as, serves as a liaison to the community. First Friday’s are patterned after Europe’s successful “Art Walks.” Because First Fridays is free, it attracts a diverse population of all ages, inviting everyone to experience the arts directly and learn more about it in a safe and comfortable, yet simulating setting.
